Ongoing tasks for Bannister Park Markets

Hi All Stars,

The club is looking to its members to take over responsibilities in running the monthly Bannister Park Markets in the new year.

My wife and I are relocating overseas so we’re putting it out to the members to take over so that our markets can continue. The Committee sees the markets as a valuable event that brings in funds, creates a community spirit and engages children in an effort to drive recruitment. If the following roles cannot be filled the club will either need to pay someone externally or cancel the markets all together.

We need people to:
1) Source market vendors and organise their fees
2) Promote the markets - social media and physical promotion
3) Organise responsibilities of the club (event prep and pack down, canteen stock purchases, volunteer coordination etc)

A full handover can be conducted before the end of January 2025.
