Hey guys
I think this is probably the first post here that I’’e made, but I wanted to give a huge thankyou to everybody who pitched (heh) in and helped out over this past weekend plus extra days.
So many people came in clutch, and that is the only reason everything ran as smoothly as it did.

We had great feedback over the tournament of how well everything was going, and as I’m sure the team of sandwich makers are aware, got all of our lunch orders done by their ordered times.

I was initially planning to give thanks to a list of people who volunteered, but there were so many that I want to just give a couple of special mentions
I’d like to give a couple of special mentions

First, Bronwyn, you made the madness of those first two weekend days bearable.
Keiran, who would be there for me to grab whenever I needed an extra set of hands.
Mikey, in much the same boat as keiran in that you are almost always helping out.
Seb, for putting in and helping out even though he only played his first game of the season this weekend.
Sarah, making sandwiches like a machine.

Also Obie, Dominic, Zariah, Charlie, Liam also get a mention for helping out in the canteen, some being names I knew, and some being new names I learned.

And of course our glorious leader Dicko for putting in an absolutely inhuman amount of hours and helping me out with ordering and getting so much of the organisation done.

This is of course in addition to almost everyone who turned up for the ground crew and jumped into the canteen when I was taking a break or rushing out to grab more hotdogs, bread and chips.

I could continue listing names, but I don’t know when I would stop. This kind of stuff doesn’t happen without the huge help from our volunteers, you guys are what makes the club work.
